Coaching

Fertile Soil Strategies’ team of consultants have decades of combined fundraising, financial management, and organizational development experience. Our standard annual consulting package includes weekly meetings with an FSS consultant who will work with organizational leadership to develop short and long term fundraising and organizational development goals including strategies for raising individual and institutional dollars, as well as leveraging events and grassroots fundraising to mobilize resources for your organization.

Organizational Intensive

For organizations hoping to go deeper and engage more of their team in our work, we offer a year long organizational intensive. This offering includes coaching services, team training, and two organizational retreats to engage more of your team in developing a comprehensive organizational development and resource mobilization plan and support your implementation efforts throughout the year. Our Organizational Intensive includes:

  • One Year of Coaching

  • Training for your staff and board on how to engage individual and institutional donors

  • Resource opportunity mapping session with your organization’s staff and board

  • Building organizational capacity and buy in around long term fundraising plan

  • Two organizational retreats with your team

Resource Mobilization Training Series

This training program is a four part comprehensive workshop series offered in a cohort model. To facilitate implementation, we recommend that each organization send two representatives who will have a fundraising role in the organization. This can include organizational staff, board members, and/or community leaders. Preferably someone who will commit to playing an ongoing and active role in fundraising efforts for the next year.

Each workshop will be followed by a series of cohort gatherings designed to continue and implement the learning from each training. Cohort work between sessions will include time for community building and hands-on work supported by our training team.

This training is designed to be replicated and can be tailored to the needs of participants.
